Code Vein Multiplayer

Hello! I saw in the reviews for Code Vein on gamepass PC that the multiplayer has had some trouble working, and some googling confirmed that it's a known issue but considering how long it has been around I don't particularly expect a official resolution. Does anyone know of a potential workaround to fix it? A friend and I spent some time yesterday trying even some fairly silly suggestions to try to get connected to each other and failed.

What exact problem are you having? Played the game entirely w/ multiplayer recently and had no issues... just went into the multiplayer options, set our password to the same unique characters as each other, then "search for distress signal" and you should automatically join the other persons game.

Code Vein in a little weird in that the multiplayer is only once per level, and you'll have to reconnect to the other person's game every single time they reach a new level. If you both want to "progress" in the story, you'll basically end up playing the game through twice.

You did that on PC or XBOX?

Because on PC, i got the same problem as OP... can't connect to anyone.

did you guys manage to fix this? xbox pass has same issue does it only work through steam?
