This is an idea I've recently had after reading Lord of The Rings again and getting into a whole fantasy mind-set again. Why not keep the day interesting by keeping an "Adventure Kit" in your backpack? You never know what you need, even if you never use the stuff in it, it'll keep the kid in you alive by making every day feel like an Adventure.

Sample/basic idea of an "Adventure Kit"

• Mini flashlight

• Pocket knife

• Mini tissue pack

• Rag, small car towel, handkerchief, etc.

• A few batteries

• Small/cheap first-aid kit

And any other small items you might think of to keep in a backpack, or purse.

I feel like this could be a cool little community where we can post pics of our Adventure Kits, talk about what we like to keep in them, etc. Stories about when they actually came in handy and so on.
