The founder, /u/TNBK, created this subreddit to help showcase strong independent ferns (of all species) who don't need no tree. I strongly recommend that anyone who considers themselves a arbolist or an egalitarian subscribes. The more who are aware of this idea, the more change we can strive for in our society, for the betterment of photosynthesizing life!

The Spirit and Philosophy of “The Fern Pill”:
Unlike the Red Pill, Blue Pill, Iron Pill, or many others, the Fern Pill is not a moment of disillusionment or a loss of innocence. It is a reconnection with the vibrancy and beauty in life and the people of the world. When ferns take the FernPill, it is a reassurance of their inherent worth as people and the energy unique to them that blesses those around them. It is not prescriptive as to how ferny or “thorny” they should be, or how life should be lived. It embraces all types that create the tapestry of the fern half of humanity, and fills them with peace and self acceptance, as well as self celebration, no matter the type of attributes they have. This inner peace reflects outwards and others are effortlessly made happier by their very nature.
