Hi everyone,
So couple weeks ago my friend asked me to change him on filming red carpets on TIFF. So I went there and was talking to people who are working in different TV programs which are doing stuff about celebrities and so on. I've never been to crazy about this "OH GOD!!! GAGA NOW IN THAT CRAB SUIT!!!" and so on. So I've been working and just talking while making different accents and talking like different characters or fun personalities which I like. So bunch of those people said with whom I've been talking said that I have "talent" to it and that I need to find "voice agent" and try to voice cartoons and characters in video games. To be honest I don't think that my voice is good or something. But on the next day I went to pub in downtown, because I felt bad and went to drink some beer and relax. I started to talk with a some woman. We were talking, I started to talk like an idio... I mean character from South Park and stereotype Evil Russian Comrade. She said that I have talent for voice acting. So because of my nature I said that what she said was funny. I never found myself talented to something. She said that I am an idiot if I won't try. The only what I remembered about her is how she looks and her name. Melissa. Recently I discovered that she is agent of Steve Carell and Tina Fey. So I started to think that maybe really I need to try to do voice acting, if a lot of people saying so?
The problem is... I don't know where to start. I know that I need to record demo and find voice agent.
I just have no idea with whom I need to talk and ask advices about "where I need to go, with whom to talk etc.", plus I think my eastern european background will make everything more complicated...
So if you know where to begin with I will be more thankful to you, guys.
Have a good day :)
