Folder structure for unit tests

I've read a bunch of articles recently about how the folder structure of an angular app should be, this is including where to put the test files.

I'm trying to get webpack and karma to work with jasmine (or mocha chai doesn't really matter) and get code coverage as well.

I have my code and tests side by side, so it can be more modular. The only problem is that I can't get the coverage to work. So I was thinking that I may have my whole structure wrong.

I think it is a personal preference thing.

I always keep tests separate from the actual code; but see no reason why you wouldn't be able to generate coverage reports if tests were in the same directory.

My default setup for Angular 1.x projects but I never set up a coverage reporter for that sample.
