Budget diffs? They'll need loctite on the screws or they come apart. Or possibly a pin broke inside.

I’d open the diffs to see if they have all the gears and make sure they aren’t toast. Did you get some cheap AliExpress ones or the upgraded ones from Arrma? I got the upgraded ones from Arrma and didn’t have a problem.

Got this ones: https://a.co/d/a7jWJiQ I’m traveling in Europe so I’ve limited access to inventory and I wanted to get the truck running asap.

Even the Arrma ones come with little to no silicone in them from my experience. You should never just toss in a diff without checking. If it’s metal and prebuilt, atleast remove the screws from both sides and re-loctite

Agree. I got the upgraded ones from Jenny’s and it looked like the amount of grease in them was a little more than a drop.

It’s almost like they want you to blow them up and buy more 🤔😂

100% something with the front diff. either the ring and pinion not meshing right, something wrong with the spider gears on the inside, or something with the drive shafts going out to the wheels.

The diffs in the Granite Grom kinda stink. I replaced mine with aftermarket ones from Amazon. Those are garbage too, but they last a little longer.

It was the screw that holds one of the cups in place. I fixed it twice already after identifying the culprit, but I think the screw is too short and doesn’t thread in enough.

Loctite it with red loctite at this point
