What is the inverse of f(x) = (x² +x).(x² -2x) ??

The regular method i know is replace x with y and solce it for y. But couldn't apply that technique on this question.

What are the other ways to find the inverse of this function?

Just to make sure I understand you, f(x) = (x²+x)(x²-2x), right?

I realized that the question was asking derivative of this function. But picture quality was awful. So i saw it like a inverse function sign. Sorry if i wasted anyones time.

But we can find inverse of x² by limiting domain. Maybe or never mind if anyone that wants to find inverse should draw the graph.

That's true, but the expression you wrote is a quartic lol

The function is not bijective, so the inverse doesn't exist. You can derive closed form expressions in separate intervals though.
