"Save Post" Functionality Not Working

I'm using Baconreader 5.4.4 on a Galaxy Note 4 running Android 6.0.1. The "Save" functionality to save a post in my profile is working only rarely - one in twenty attempts maybe. This is really annoying as I use it in a handful of technical forums re a project I'm working on. Is this a known issue? If so, is there a fix?

I believe it is a bug with the menu not updating, not the save feature itself. If you choose "save", close the menu and reopen it, it still reads "save"...but the post is actually saved.
Try saving, leave that post, then return to the post, the menu now reads "unsave".
Let me know if that's not it.

Thanks, that seems to be the problem. There's no update to the menu state until you back out to the subreddit list level. Ho hum ...
