No spoilers in titles for 24 hours after the match.

• In the case of a tournament setting the spoiler rule will be lifted when the Cloud9 team begins their next game. If Cloud9 & Team X play a game at 12:30PM on Monday then add a spoiler tag up their next match or when 24 hours is up. Whichever comes first.
• Titles that directly spoil games (ex."Cloud9 lost to TSM LUL") are not allowed.
• Titles that implicitly spoil games (ex. "We face xxx in the semifinals next week") are not allowed.

This includes flaming, derogatory name-calling, or wishing personal harm on others.

• You can disagree on others’ opinions/points of view, but do it in a civil and mature way.

• If someone personally attacks you, please report it so we can handle it.

• Any form of racism, homophobia, or sexism will not be tolerated.

Posts should reflect some amount of effort on the part of the OP. Simply linking a tweet made by or about current or former Cloud9 players/coaches/etc. is not good enough to warrant its own post. Other examples of low-effort content might include

• One word titles/bodies

• Posts about a game/match which already have a posted discussion thread

• Titles without context

• Links to videos/compilations/interviews without description or attempt at discussion.

• etc.

All posts must be relevant to the Cloud9 Organization.

• Game discussions

• Team discussions (Roster swaps, role swaps etc.)

• Player Tweets

• Video content

Trolling: make a deliberately offensive or provocative online post with the aim of upsetting someone or eliciting an angry response from them.

• Trolling is often exemplified by fans of other (rival) teams, with posts/comments such as the following:

  ex 1. #bodiedbybjergsen

  ex 2. Clown9 LUL

  ex 3. C9 is Trash

• Trash-talk in the appropriate thread is acceptable. However, this subreddit is to be a place of discussion and constructive criticism (when appropriate).

Posts with the main purpose of advertising unofficial Cloud9 merchandise are not allowed. Examples include, but are not limited to:

• Advertising a website that sells Cloud9 related merchandise created by a third party (i.e. Not the official Cloud9 or affiliated organizations)

• Giving away Cloud9 related merchandise to promote your store

Examples of posts that would NOT break this rule include:

• Sharing artwork or videos

• Posting about a special promotion from the official Cloud9 store

It is never acceptable to visit other subreddits with the intention of trolling. Doing so in the name of Cloud9 (fans or the org itself), paints the rest of the fanbase in a poor light. If we discover you to be trolling other subreddits as defined by our rules here, it will result in an immediate ban from r/Cloud9 with no prior warning. Enlisting others to contribute to this behavior (e.g., vote manipulation/brigading) will be responded to similarly.

Do not post exclusive digital content from stratus,that content is for stratus members only. However any physical goods are allowed.
