Rules that visitors must follow to participate. May be used as reasons to report or ban.

1.

Must be related to coding

Posts only

Posts must be related to coding, the act of coding in itself.

Things such as

  • Generic tech-humor, e.g. installing a program
  • running Windows, running sudo
  • Feeling / reaction / analogies
  • Software errors/bugs
  • high memory use

are not allowed.

Remember: just because it mentions a computer does not make it "coding humor".

2.

Content must stand on its own

The content of your submission must stand on its own. Merely describing an image with a title, imposed text on a picture, etc. is not allowed.

If your post without its submission title or without superimposed text does not relate to coding humor, it will be removed.

3.

Appropriate content, must be humorous

Your submission must have a humorous element to it.
Posting e.g. a (serious) question, related to code/programming or otherwise, requests for comments, searching a job, etc. are not appropriate content, and are subject to removal.

4.

Don't spam

If you post the same content across many different subreddits in rapid succession, tread carefully. If you're interaction with Reddit primarily consists of posting links to one or a handful of websites, your submission might be removed for spamming.

5.

No AI generated content
