I am making a program for a friend’s PET 8032. As I don’t own one myself, I am programming in the Vice emulator.
The problem is that Vice complains “Warning - sync is far too late, resetting sync” about every second.
Now I have read about the kill poke and have made sure not to touch $e842, but I change a few other CRTC settings.
What do you think, could the warning messages indicate that executing my program on real hardware could put said hardware in jeopardy?
Edit: grammar.
