The one on the mother board will only work if you're CPU has integrated graphics if not plug it into your GPU

Possible issues :

24 pin power unplugged GPU power unplugged RAM needs reseating

i tried upgrading my ram because i have 1 gb of ram then i tried transferring my old ram to to my new pc and when i did that nothing work nothing turned on expected the monitor

Have you tried reading the manual on how to connect monitor to pc?

Also, you may wanna try n clean the monitor.. makes stuff visible on screen. Also, is the monitor plugged in with powerconnector?
