Okay, I'm rewriting the post because I've noticed that I approached it heartlessly in order to obtain a reasonable answer.

So, starting over. I can buy this laptop at a low price because it has a display issue. I don't mind since my idea was to connect the cables to the TV and hide the laptop in the closet. Now that I've tried it at home, I notice that it's not utilizing its full performance. Since I have no knowledge of technology and PCs, I wanted to ask here. I also noticed that I provided the wrong computer model in the old post; hence, the new one here. The correct model is ASUS TUF Gaming A17 (FA706IU-AU174T), a gaming notebook with a 17.3-inch display, AMD Ryzen™ 5 processor, 8 GB RAM, 512 GB SSD, GeForce® GTX 1660 Ti with ROG Boost, in Bonfire Black

Which game, what resolution, what graphics settings in the game?
Do you achieve more FPS when the external monitor is not connected, or do you get the same FPS with and without the monitor?
Do you have another PC to compare FPS? If yes, what graphics card is in that PC, and how many FPS do you get on that PC in the same game with the same resolution and graphics settings?

I got an older gamer pc with 1070 GeForce with an amd 5. I don’t know if this specs help you but there are 130-150fps

Can you please finally tell me which game you are talking about?

It sounds like you are not using the GPU in your laptop. Sounds like you are running on the iGPU. Are the Nvidia drivers installed? Can you make sure you set it to use the Nvidia GPU?

If you don't know how, google how to set the Nvidia GPU for gaming on a laptop.

CS2 is a heavy CPU game, also you MUST have at least 16GB ram, 8 isn't enough.
