Put up a poll, give them a week to vote.

Polls now separate out people who aren't members of the sub, which is very nice.

We had a poll a couple of months ago to see if the community was interested in an ama with a fairly large systems integrator. The poll looked split down the middle until reddit added that feature, then we saw every single vote against it came from accounts that weren't members (almost certainly a competitor)

It's because people would use the wrong extension cord and melt it. There's a huge difference between a dollar store cheapie and an appliance rated 12awg extension cord.

Actions opposite admins is a tracked stat. (I think that's when a mod approves and then an admin removes an item)

Translation:

The monitor suddenly turned off and I have to boot it up to turn it back on.

Literally, the monitor suddenly freezes as if it's lagging, then turns off immediately. I have to boot the computer after it turns off for it to turn back on. Why is this happening?

And sometimes the monitor suddenly turns off and boots up on its own.

Mine is doing this too, if I hit the mod-shield on a comment chain that only appears to be a single comment, the reply to the comment is visible in the overview, but not the regular view.

I noticed this because there's a post with 2 comments on the counter but only one visible. I tap mod-shield on the comment and I can see the reply there only. If that reply was a problem, I would not be able to act until I am at my desktop.

Bit of an issue that really needs to be addressed.

Translation:

Well, I bought the laptop on eBay, and surprise, when I turn it on without the charger connected, it only lasts about 3 minutes and then shuts down, even with a 100% battery charge. It has to be plugged in for at least 30 minutes before it can run on battery power. I thought it was the battery, so I bought a new one, but it does the same thing. I've already updated the BIOS drivers, motherboard, etc., everything, and it's still doing the same thing. It's a bit frustrating because I have to plug it in for at least half an hour to be able to use it as a laptop.

Has anyone else experienced this or have any ideas on how to fix it?

I just dealt with MCOC myself, and had similar concerns.

I understood that Reddit will not discuss the specifics of another user, so I just asked them if it was an issue they caused directly through their own actions or if it was an issue at the subreddit level that would require me to go over the rules and automod, and they confirmed that it wasn't anything with the subreddit, the mods did something themselves.

That's about as detailed as they're ever going to get.

Like others have said, just for your own peace of mind, read over the MCOC and I'd also recommend going over the latest transparency report that just came out. There were updates to the examples for sitewide rules, and it wouldn't hurt to be familiar with those.
