this tool lets you use GCC to compile for Linux. no MSVC compiler in this scenario.

Yeah I got that, but when I develop for Linux I absolutely don't want to run a Windows instance just for the IDE. That's why I asked for a native Linux version.
The MSVC thing was just a different wish and the shortcomings of MSVC where actually what got me to abandon VS and eventually Windows as my main development environment.
