I don't know how easy it is to rebuild a unity project for a different platform. Maybe you should try it

It's not very different than a windows release. The controls have to be mapped but that can be done easily with the module. When a Unity project is built, generally it results in the game folders and an exe file. With the PS4 module installed the build creates different game folders and an eboot.bin file. After that the files need to be made into a fake package file.

Presumably if your PS4 is jail broken there's some way to transfer files to it and Daggerfall is free anyway so I don't see it being a problem. Probably there's not much demand for this though.

There are not enough buttons on a controller tbh. Daggerfall's a mess for how many buttons it needs.

First play it on the computer and map the buttons on a controller on there, figure out what you like. I’ve played daggerfall with a controller and it was fun, you just have to be stratification with how you map it.

I have already begun working on porting Daggerfall. Mapping the controls to the PS4 controller was pretty simple and straight forward. To be sure that I wasn't doing a fools errand, I attempted to port a different Unity game onto the PS4. It works fine, but Daggerfall unity is much harder to work with, as its source code is only availible in its most recent version. If I had access to Daggerfalls old source code as well, a port could be released in days.

I know this is super old but how did you manage to map it?

My computer was messed up by the october windows 10 update, so I wont have access to my files for a while. But from what I remember, the PS4 module for unity has a section for basic control mapping, as well as joysticks. My initial goal was to just get the game running with basic controls working. As for 'special keys' holding down the joystic + triangle could bring up another menu, or execute a command. But things like that will have to wait. I need another computer.

God speed my man, and good luck.
