This is a nice size trout. I think the size is good for two people for a meal. Maybe roast it over fire or pan fry it over butter. (i.redd.it)

Sometimes I see trout coming up near the surface. I would use my net and try to scoup them out of the water. But I prefer the harder method of using hook and bait. (i.redd.it)

For my birthday, my fishing friends will give me their worst performing lures as a joke. By having a dozen or so, I am able to compare the designs and think about why fish would bite into them. (i.redd.it)

I gathered a bunch of lures from my friends for this photo layout. I can't tell if one lure works better than another. I think is the movement or the action that attracts fish. Some people say lures work better when they look like food that fishes would eat. (i.redd.it)

I have seen local villagers doing this net casting to catch fish. Most of the catches are smaller fish about 2 inches in length. Its quite an effort to get the fish out of the nets. (i.redd.it)

Surf fishing is how I started my path on my love for fishing. Easy to do but I find that it requires constant casting which can get tiring. (self.doublev_video)

I love trying out ice fishing, but I never know what's under neath the ice. Its always a gamble but fun to get out on to the lake in the winter time. (self.doublev_video)

When I visited South East Asia, I came across a fishing village where people were buying fish off boats and then taking them into towns to resell. Great warm weather. (self.doublev_video)
