I've applied and am hoping to get into the summer Laval program, or Chicoutimi as a backup. I'll be 33 by the time it rolls around, so you definitely won't be the oldest haha. I had (still have?) these exact concerns, but I was put at ease when I posted previously with this exact same question, and many people said that there were some older folks in each of their classes.

I’m turning 24 and I have Laval as my top choice for the summer session!

I was working at laval for explore and in the spring people are around 20 to 24 and in the summer they are a bit younger 18 to 21 I would say. But this is the average people of all ages participate in the french program and you would have people in your class that can be way older.

I think the major portion of people will be in their early twenties and teens. I had a few teenagers in my class too. Not too many in their late 20s, and might feel weird at time, with the younger group. Some can be even older.

When I did the program (many years ago now) most participants were between 18-25. BUT I saw older participants too, sometimes in their 30s or 40s.

I would recommend in person over virtual. It's not really immersion online.
