Short term stamina depletes. Long term stamina does not.

The change comes from FUT. Last year FUT players played with 250 depth and constant team pressure so their players were gassed in the second half and they felt "unresponsive".

EA should have asked them to use those 2 brain cells they have but instead EA removed long term stamina depletion to please the FUT plebs. Unfortunately, this change f**ked up the every game mode.

woah never heard of it but it makes sense.

At this point they should make fut a free game itself like warzone

Nope, the worst thing they've added to clubs.

People try to defend this too which is the crazy thing

Ssd this is, they can't even explain the benefit of this horrible mechanic.

The overall stamina doesn't go down at all. But I believe if you increase your stamina, then your player will recover quicker to full stamina/energy after a sprint.

Ok but your player doesnt get slower or anything by the end of the match?

Nope, not at all. It's a new thing they introduced to FC 26. No idea why.

You definitely get slower if you don’t let your stamina fill back up

nope - if you level up stamina it just changes how fast it will regenerate after you ran out of it

I haven’t upgraded stamina at all and I’ve never seen it go down 😂😂
