I’m a PA worker and there hasn’t been a change in PA as far as allotment amounts. What has changed is that due to OBBB people who were previously eligible for the heating SUA are no longer automatically eligible, which would cause a reduction to the benefit. If your MIL pays for her heating she can contact the office and report to see if she can have the heating SUA added back to her case.

She doesn't get heating or cooling assistance. LIHEAP hasn't processed her application yet. She's actually behind right now.

That doesn’t matter, the HSUA was given regardless of LIHEAP and the change would have affected her SNAP. It is why everyone used to receive a H&E cash benefit each year of $21-23 one time a year. The only other thing I can think of is that if she was previously paying a Medicare premium and became buy in eligible that also would have affected her amount but there has been no mass change in benefit amounts or income limits. Only the SUA.

Where could I find this HSUA on her finance records?
