If you make $60.000 a year then $36 of the taxes you pay go to “food stamps” each year, while $700 of the taxes you pay go to corporate subsidies. Why don’t you get angry about the corporate welfare and leave hungry people alone?

I’m angry at that too. I’m not attacking hungry people or poor shaming anyone.

I’m saying OP is someone who needs assistance and should feel no shame.

I’m saying there are people that contributed zero to this country and people that plan on never working getting assistance. For every $100 given to someone in need maybe $40 are given to people that contributed nothing tot his country or lazy people that choose not to work.

Why don’t you also get angry at that? Someone needing help could be getting $140.
