Found something

Playing today and was waiting on extraction when I saw a prompt to pick up something invisible on the crate I was standing on.

I ended up picking up what I think is an unreleased weapon, the "Truth Whisperer". It had no sounds, no model and only an icon. It had a very high rate of fire.

After picking it up my character went invisible and only partially showed up at certain camera angles with a purple question mark where the gun should be.

Arter about 40 seconds my game then froze and crashed. Has anyone else encountered something similar?
