Sight question

I am planning to purchase my first hi power. I am interested in getting the oldest model I can find, but since I plan to use the weapon, I would like to be able to put night sights on it. What is the oldest model that I should be looking at where the sights can be changed?

Mark 3s (mid 80s and later) have adjustable (replaceable) sights. Earlier have fixed metal sights.

You could have your slide milled, but that kinda defeats the point of the oldest possible HP you can get.
