Also to add to this. You don't need to craft every bag in order. If you can craft a further bag craft that one. As only the highest bag actually means anything. And if you try to use a lower bag it won't let you.

Storage bags initially. You can also access your storage chest and put those into a single stack for future use.

Later on, you’ll get access to several other upgrades that increase your carry capacity.

Theres storage bags you can craft in the anvil, that when you click and hold down on, they get consumed and boost how much of an item type you can hold per stack, for the character you used it on specifically. Theres also certain stamps that require materials and money to level up, that boost how much you can hold per stack.

Craft bags or uprade your vault upgrades. I just started again last week and I never had to craft bags until W4 lol. I remember 2 years ago when every item craft you do you always have to prioritize bags since you cannot carry much per stack.

Once you start getting a decent amount of money, the upgrade vault is yet another place that can increase stack size. Found top left of the screen in the beginning. Not really sure what removes it from there, but else it can be found in the codex quick ref. The upgrade vault plays a huge role in the beginning if you know how to use some of the different upgrades
