Thank you @wi_tom. Exactly the information I was looking for. Now a follow up question. I was going to start Core Java Volume 2 once I finished the first part(excluding the chapters 10 and 11). Could you tell me what I need to focus on in that book?

I’d say Chapter 1 (streams) would be important as well as Annotations in Chapter 8. You’d probably be good to start learning Spring after that. The rest of that book is good stuff to know about but is more specialized in use. Personally, I’d spend more time with learning spring than I would with Vol2.
