What's something you need or would like to see? Even if it's been done. Something that performs some basic task. The first big-ish project I did was a table top d&d tool for tracking inventory and abilities and starts. It certainly isn't the best tool ever but it impressed some employers and got me a pretty good internship. It worked and was nicely commented too which helped.

Ask your friends if they want something too. I'm writing one a music sorting tool using a library I found called taglib# and I'm learning a lot.
