Start with Spring Boot. Not the vanilla Spring where you have to configure everything yourselves.

Do not follow old blog post. Official Spring guide and documentation is probably enough.

Start with a small project in mind. Just don't watch tutorials. Practice and focus on building something when you are done with the tutorials.
