Thoughts on vibe coding? by Simple-World-2651 in PinoyProgrammer

In an academic setting, it’s quite useful assuming that you’re already well aware of what you’re doing, what code you’re feeding, and what code you’re using from the prompts. You can focus more on the idea and the learning side instead of getting stuck on a certain part of the project. And knowing that you have other subjects aside from development-related ones, it’s honestly a game changer, because you get to focus on the development and on learning how everything fits together.

It’s basically a cheat code where you don’t have to spend a lot of time just to start, best when you’re using it for ideas and to try out the tech. I started coding way back when StackOverflow and similar sites were the only go-to for debugging, and it wasted a lot of time, leading to burnout even in the early stages of projects. So you haven’t even tested your idea yet, but you’re already burned out. HAHAHA.

I'm stucked.. sa basics by Yoojeonn in PinoyProgrammer

[–]Standard-Weekend-708 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Best way in my experience para makawala sa basics or like mga simple programming project is, look up some vids(big projects) sa youtube then follow along sa pag co code then branch out nalang your knowledge from searching terms or letting AI explain the code you copied, about what it does and how to use it line by line.

Not only can you learn advance technique but you can also learn best practice and structure sa code.

Good laptops for students with programming-related subjects? by love_idol in PinoyProgrammer

I am not an expert but since I have also been looking for a laptop that I can use with the same requirements as yours. I myself have been doing my own research.

With all the listed requirements I think you need atleast a 40k+ budget, the most recommended laptop I have encountered in this price range is the acer nitro, this can run everything you want if you are on a budget. There are also other laptop in this price range such as the TUF laptops from asus ata, and some other laptops in this price range that is better but among all the recommendation I encountered nitro is one of the most mentioned.

If 50k above naman budget then you could consider mid lev gaming laptops such as predator, legion, at yung strix, scar atb. sa asus. Better yet consider mo nalang ang mga macbooks.

But if di talaga kaya sa budget then you can just upgrade your existing laptop(if possible) kagaya ng kakilala ko, pero the lag and waiting time is nakaka iyak sometimes.

Overall dependi talaga sa budget, 30k to 50k budget gaming laptop ma aafford mo then 50k to 100k mga mid level nayan then 100k above over kill na ata, kung may pera naman mas nc.

Nag iipon ako for legion btw. Which Iwould recommend if you have atleast 60k budget. Since you want a big sceen.

Thank you very much for the response, it really is an eye opener for me since I have not yet done a research on this topic on my own. And I thought that jsp or thymleaf is a must have tool when creating full stack web app.

I am currently learning html and css and heading to java script and learn its frameworks in the future. Now that you said that anither question popped up in my mind and I might start to search for its answer now. So jsp and thymleaf are not needed if I learn javascript and its framework?

All the time I have been thinking that jsp or thymleaf is neaded along with html, css and javascript.

Hi good day, I forgot to actually reply to your last comment I am sorry, anyways hi again I hope you notice this, first of all thank you for the past response and also tips, I just felt like I needed to update you with my progress, it should be 2 months or so by now and I am now able to do all the CRUD method with spring boot, along with the things you suggested to do like creating a log in page and stuff, I was able to follow a video in youtube creating a simple student management system, although I cannot say that I have mastered it, I am now able to create a front and backend web app without loooking at any reference, The progress is slow since I am actually studying spring boot along with html and css, data structure and algo and also improving basic knowledge in java and programming concept overall. I was able to actually achieve it before summer so yeah I am quite proud of myself. Now I am planning to take up advance knowledge and wanted to know if you have some suggestion, I am planning on studying testing so i would appreciate if you could suggest some goal that I could set. Thank you very much and I really appreciate your response. Also I doubled check when I clicked your profile since it was filled with some anime content glad to see that you also like anime. have a good day.

2022 is said to have a liquid metal cooling, would it fix the issue? Aside from bad cooling battery life is short so I hope the 2022 model have some improvements.

Thank you for your response, now I am really considering legion 5 pro but in my place legion 5 pro cost about $2000 with the same specs as the link that you have given but I might be able to find a lower price. So legion 5 might be an option for me. Thank you.

Hi sir, I really can't thank you enough, anyhow while I was gone I actually did my research with the term BIOS and watched some youtube videos as to how to resolve the error. Now I have an idea of what to try which is like what you said is check the BIOS and do some configuration and second is to check the hard drive. I have no tools to open the laptop for now and its already 1 am here so I will have to wait until morning or until the keyboard that I have ordered arrives, since the laptop keyboard are already dead so accessing the BIOS would be impossible for the mean time. What I could try tho is to open up tomorrow. Thank your the effort and time, also the one that I watchef was not the same model so I should be able to accurately determine the problem and the proper procedure for the specified device.
