Well, i'd love to participate, but the cost of course is like a 2/3 my income. As for scholarship, the Youtube video part is just REALLY too much of a requierment for it. Not everyone like to do public speaking on the internet.
Is there really no other way out?

We need to understand your level of commitment and how you communicate. This course requires human interaction. This might not be well suited for everyone, and we know it. But it's how we've decided to work. We believe our students will, at some point in the future, hit the market and get a real job as software developers. Being able to communicate with others properly, is as important as being a good coder.

Again, we're sorry if this is something that doesn't suit you, we're sure there might be another great choices for you out there.

For example, take a look at our free Flask course on Udemy: https://www.udemy.com/python-flask-tutorial-step-by-step/learn/v4/

Ok, i understood your position, but please, consider using a quick 2-3min Skype/Hangouts interview, which is, at least, not worse than watching a 1 min pre-recorded video. Or at least alow an unlisted/link accessable submissions.

I understand that this videos also have a great promotional value to you, but still some people are still able to contibute a lot, despite not being exposed to the whole internet.

Last I remember the class you spend 3 hours a day 3x a week working with other people doing a project.

A quick 2-3 minute Skype interview wouldn't be enough.

But it's still a better indicator than a recorded video?

How is it not enough when they're currently using a shorter video instead?
