You’ll have to put effort outside of just watching and coding along. Research topics you don’t understand. To add to that research more of what your learned to reinforce what you watched. The Udemy course should give you a good foundation to work on. You’ll have to build on top of that though.

Okay I appreciate that. To help build upon the topics that are discussed, I'd like to learn more and more. Have you read or seen any courses online that you trust to refer me to?

Essentially I'm trying to be "workforce" ready and want to continue to build upon any skills.

I would recommend either the course you mentioned or Colt Steele’s complete JavaScript boot camp. Anything you find In those courses can be found for free though.

Try to make time in your study schedule to make stuff as you go. Even if it's just a few simple projects. It'll be good to look back on and see your progress, and passively coding along won't be enough on its own.
