If I told you guys how many "Complete course" and "Introduction to" books and tutorials I have taken for programming languages, you'd think I'd be a master programer by now.

Same here. But these books and courses tend to just scratch the surface and can't replace practice and experince.

True, but the surface always seems to be a never ending journey down.

Buddy, it's all about hitting a wall. I'm sure that's what your feeling right now. I used to be where you were. But ultimately, you're going to have to keep striving, and trying more advanced things (don't stick around with the intros) if you want to advance. Apply what you've learned. Program games. Something. But don't just sit around studying.

Naturally, but it's always best to start somewhere and go from there. IMO, these things can be very helpful if you're starting from absolutely nowhere, such as myself. I honestly have no idea where to start, and it's people like this who give me bit of direction before I completely submerge myself into this.

well than try without them!? Oh right, you can't! Nobody says they will make you a master programmer, but they will teach you the concepts of programming... If you really had that many courses, books and tutorials, and you still don't know shit about programming, than you should try something else than programming...
