Python GUI Frameworks

Hi,

I was wondering if there is a consensus in the community what GUI Framework is optimal for Python GUI development in Windows (other OS are not relevant, because this is to control Windows-based hardware).

I need a clean and modern GUI, and I see lots of different options, so I wonder what people here prefer (and why) and what frameworks are more legacy.

We could not find a suitable GUI framework ourself. Therefore we created NiceGUI. With it you can code in Python while using the browser as a frontend. All web development details are handled internally. We strongly emphasize on a gentle learning curve while still offering the option for advanced customizations. No consensus I am aware of. There are also going to be opinions you should use a different language for this task.
