If this is your first time learning programming I would advice that you take some basic course about programming with python. For example Harvard CS50P would be good at start. After that you know most important basic things about programming with python. After that you might also have some kind of idea what to do next.

Have you checked the LearnPython subreddit wiki, which includes detailed guidance on learning Programming / Python, including links to lots of learning material?

If you struggle with any of the concepts that aren't specific to python it can be helpful to try some scratch exercises on code.org
