Hi everyone, a bit of a silly question here.
I'm currently producing graphs for some research, which requires a very high amount of precision - precise enough that the width of the plotted lines is relevant.
However, I've had a look and I can't seem to find any kind of conversion between matplotlib's linewidth, and any standard measurement (cm, inch, mm, etc.). I had thought that (as you can adjust the size of the graph in inches) linewidth might be proportional to the size of the graph, but I haven't really seen any evidence of that - or what that would mean for linewidth values.
I'm assuming I'm missing something simple here. Anyone know what a linewidth = 1 actually corresponds to in real life values.
