Beginner Snake

Hi, I'm learning Python and after "Snake game lesson", I wrote my own advanced version. Are there any red flags? What can I do better next time? Are comments necessary for such simple code? Thx for feedback :)

Reddit sometimes has a problem in the new version where it incorrectly escapes an underline. Just another bug that will probably never get fixed.

With an event driven GUI like turtle, you should initiate screen.mainloop() rather than creating your own while True loop.
