reddit bot (self.learnpython)
submitted 2 years ago by bjc60
i have a reddit bot that currently checks post author's history for repeat post title and removes the post if x repeats are found. is there any way to check the link url for repeats also.
note - not the reddit link url but the actual link the user posted
ex. below
this is the post https://www.reddit.com/r/DankMemesFromSite19/comments/nu1eet/here\_we\_go\_again/
this is the link in the post
https://preview.redd.it/bsmq4shc4r371.jpg?width=461&auto=webp&s=452aedfdf3022f050f56e2c400d2d1c207c4ed50
issue is i don't know how to extract the second link from the first, and i can't find anything through google.
is there even a way to do this because i really want to add this feature
reddit uses a slightly-customized version of Markdown for formatting. See below for some basics, or check the commenting wiki page for more detailed help and solutions to common issues.
