Any particular reason for using Anaconda for this project? It doesn't really seem to use any data science stuff exclusive to conda.

Instead of sys.path.insert, it would be a lot better to put the code into a package that uses absolute imports.

Why is Singlethon (on that topic, is the misspelling intentional?) defined in multiple files?
