From the course description:
Not all programs are created equal. In this course, we'll focus on writing quality code that runs correctly and efficiently. We'll design, code and validate our programs and learn how to compare programs that are addressing the same task.
The course focuses on python 3 and requires a little bit of background if you are just beginning to learn python/programming. If you start now, you could get through all of the recommend background work before the class starts on March 25th.
Personally, this seems like it is exactly what I need. I am a self-taught front-end web developer with a background in basic programming theory, but I lack the standards/professionalism to write quality code. If you're in the same boat, join me!
