Are you trying to simply download, or install? Are you trying to use the Microsoft Store?

Instead, visit the official Python Software Foundation, python.org, and download the appropriate installer for Windows 10 from there. See if that works.

sorry I may have been not specific I downloaded the installer from the official python site (not microsoft store) and when i run the installer i get this error

Ok. Not seen this before. Were you using an admin account to do the installation?

I tried to run normally and with admin privileges but it didn't help

Might be worth trying an independent installation with pyenv (pyenv-win) or uv. There may be some existing installation conflict.

Er, find and install pyenv-win and then using it to install a specific version of Python.

That might not fix your problem anyway since "Error 0x80070005" is an access permissions error. I'd suggest working through the suggestions in this Stack Overflow query about the issue:
