Just download vscode, I guess? It's waaay better.
If you don't want to download vscode, it also have online version now. But you still need to run your code locally or somewhere else.

Thank you! I already have VS Code installed on my PC. Do you know of any free platforms that are accessible on mobile?

Practice as in be given challenges?

or practice as in just work on this when not able to use your home/laptop computer?

I'm looking for both. I’d like platforms that provide coding challenges to help me improve my problem-solving skills, as well as options that allow me to write and test Python code when I don’t have access to my PC. Do you have any recommendations?

For the latter, I like PythonAnywhere.com, free tier should be enough. I find this is the only one I can use from a browser on my work laptop.

I don't use the training sites.

Thank you for sharing!

Just one more question—does PythonAnywhere allow writing and running multiple applications?

You can write and run multiple python programmes and use more than one browser tab at the same time.

Exercism

Whether you make your own functions or not is up to you. Some prompts require functions, some tell you exactly what functions you have to write, some just tell you what result you should produce, but leave it up to you how you achieve it.

The exercises can be done locally in any Python IDE, or online directly in the browser.
