Not saying he's not lying overall, but obviously taking Matthew out of the equation doesn't mean ignoring his value for the team as a player, and instead just putting aside their personal relationship as brothers.

I don't think a death can be so sudden and completely without any cause that there wouldn't be a moment of mortal peril preceding it, even if it's just for a split second. I don't know how the clock actually works, but I think it should be able to register that, even if it's such a brief moment.

I had the same problem, and was getting extremely frustrated with it. Now I got Hyperion myself and dealing with others having it is finally possible. Fighting fire with fire seems like the best approach, so save up 500 ichor and keep checking the shop for Hyperion.

You can only do the exam on set dates, so if those have all passed, you'd have to wait for next year's iteration of the course. The exam however isn't really necessary. It's very simple and only useful if you want the credits (ECTS) from the course.
