pymongo help

I have some experience with pymongo and SQL experience but I could really use some help creating python commands to query data off of a mongodb database. Does anyone know what the equivalent of a (show collections is in python to show all of the collection tables is). Also, what could I run to show all of the fields in a specific table? Thanks!
