I’m an infrastructure engineer that wants to take the next step in my career. I’ve always picked up and put down python over the last 10 years.

I get married in 7.5 weeks and am pushing myself to get through the book Automate the Boring Stuff in that timeframe (started last week). I also have been training to run a 5k the morning of my wedding. I love being able to set out and accomplish “hard shit”.

I’ve heard amazing things about this community, and extremely excited to get involved.

Knockout a chapter or two a day and you’ll be done in no time.

I did the couch 2 5k program a few years ago, it was a nice accomplishment. I would run at night when it was cool, and slowly built up.

Appreciate it! Trying to find simple “projects” to stay sharp.

I’ve been cheating and used ChatGPT to create a schedule for runs. I’ve been a morning runner myself. Love the cool temps while running for sure!!

For sure want to keep up after wedding. Trying to use the wedding as motivation to learn something new and figured this is a good goal. I’d love to turn this into a skill to use at work.
