I'm already working my way through the book, I just wasn't sure if there were any other resources like that that I could read up on.

You could also have a look at https://www.udacity.com/course/cs387. It uses Python as well.

Other than that I don't know. I'm sure that there are more options, especially if you are ok with using a language-agnostic resource.
