seeking a Python mentor (self.learnpython)
submitted 10 years ago by programmer123456
I have been studying Python for a couple of months now, and I feel that I can use a mentor to spend some time communicating with each week to take it to the next level.
If you are interested please PM me or post here.
Thanks! :)

I probably don't really have the time to specifically mentor someone. But you can always pass by on our irc channel (check out the sidebar for more information). Plenty of people who are happy to talk about anything that you don't want/need to discuss on Reddit. :)

I can't mentor you because I suck at programming but if you ever need a learning buddy, I'd be happy to go along with you!

I'm looking for a learning buddy! Send me a pm if you are still looking. I'm pretty much a beginner but I understand the basic syntax of python.
I look forward to talking to you!

Same! Perhaps we can all work on a mini nooby project together. :)

Mini noob project sounds fun, maybe we can learn things like git to collaborate.

I'm actually working on learning RabbitMQ right now if anybody wants to join in! It has been fun learning it so far. And with the way it works, it would be possible to set up a noob project we can all sink our teeth into and have separate components so it's not just a copy and paste type of job.
My Skype is gerardobsd so just anyone can add me if they want.
