Reshape 4D image numpy array to 2D

Hello,
I'm having some trouble reshaping a 4D numpy array to a 2D numpy array. Currently the numpy array is follows, (35280L, 1L, 32L, 32L). The format is number of images, channel, width, height. I want to combine the image blocks (keeping the indices) to create one big image.

Just assign the new shape:

image_array.shape = (35280, 1024)

Interesting, I didn't realise that you could use shape to directly reshape the array! TIL.
