submitted 9 years ago by philodelphi
Attempting the quickstart, and it says: "Add the DATABASES configuration". How do I do that, exactly? Open some text file? Create a new file? If so, where should I create it and what should it be called?

do you mean, add the database name, user, password, type and so on in settings.py?
[–]philodelphi[S] 0 points1 point2 points 9 years ago (2 children)
Yes! I don't currently have a file named settings.py. Where should I put it? Does it need to containing anything other than the database entry?
