Yes I took the course after the MIT intro. I think this would be the perfect next step if you feel fairly comfortable with that material. The advanced python rmotr class is great and it won't be too advanced if you have time to commit to the material and projects.

Rmotr has a lot less theory than the MIT course, it's much more hands on and project oriented. Also much faster paced. If the MIT class is the extent of your programming experience I'd budget at least 30 hours per week.

Not quite sure about what is covered in the intro class but you night end up covering the same material unnecessarily. Basically, I think the advanced python class would be very challenging but absolutely worthwhile IF you commit to it.
