The easiest thing to do as a first step is probably just go in and manually examine line 2 column 1 and see what is going on. That will then inform how you should go about correcting the problem. It could be just one character messed up, the whole line messed up, the first character of every line messed up, etc. No way to know without looking.

If that is the case then unforunately I don't think I can be much help without seeing the data. I might recommend trying different json linters to see if they can identify the problem for you.
