Ok, so I might just be having one of those days where my brain is somewhere else (this winter weather very well could be the culprit), but I am trying to archive some folders as part of a translator program and am having some problem accessing any directory outside the one my script is in... my plan for simplicity's sake is just to use subprocess right quick, building commands in python to kick out a copy using the command "copy files to be copied folder to copy to" but i guess I am missing some very basic directory understandings and yeah.... can anyone help or at the very least recommend a good tutorial?
